Introduction:
This stand alone media converter expands a copper based network up to 220 meters over a pair of standard 62.5/125 multimode fiber, up to 550 meters over a pair of standard 50/125 multimode fiber and up to 20 kilometers over a pair of singlemode fibers. The FHC-1110 series of media converters is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 820.3ab standards.
