Fiberdyne Labs new TeraFlow Bend-Insensitive Entrance Cable is setting the standard for CATV/MSO outdoor fiber optic service. Customer bandwidth demands are driving high fiber count densities in outdoor enclosures and nodes. As density increases fiber optic bend radius becomes a major installation and support issue!
The new TeraFlow Bend Insensitive Entrance Cable fiber has a bend radius specification of less than 0.3". Standard SMF28e fiber has a minimum bend radius of 0.6". This improved radius allows for very compact installations with very professional fiber management, minimizing outages and support costs. The TeraFlow solution is provided with weatherproof anodized solid aluminum housing with a 5/8" rotational nut, for very easy installation (cabling does not need to be rotated during the install process). FC/APC or SC/APC connectors are available featuring low insertion loss and back reflection of better than -65dB.
